Dick Snyder writes about food, drinks, guitars, music, travel and other fun stuff for publications such as Zoomer, Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants, Harry and The Toronto Star. For 10 years, he published CityBites magazine, covering Toronto’s exciting food-and-drinks scene, and now keeps the vibe alive on social media @citybites. He was the founding chair of Toronto’s Terroir Symposium and currently co-owns Drink Toronto, an events company that runs walking tours to Toronto’s top bars and restaurants as well as a weekly wine school.
Dick has his Diploma in Wines and Spirits from WSET, and he judges for the Ontario Wine Awards and other drinks competitions. He received the 2019 VQA Wine Journalism Award, presented by the Ontario Wine Awards.
